Good food, inexpensive, great buffet selection. Crispy beef was a hit with my family. Non locals should be aware that the chop suey is made with shredded cabbage not bean sprouts. It's licensed but has a limited selection.

Food was delicious and the buffet was kept stocked. Only negative part was buffet selection was less than what I'm used to (but I'm from Toronto so keeping that in mind, it was pretty impressive for town like Clarenville)

Basic Chinese fare. They use MSG however so if you are sensitive to this, tell the wait staff and they can prepare food without it.

It's a little surprised to see a Chinese restaurant in such a small town. As a Chinese, I would say this is the most authentic home-made style Chinese dishes I tried so far. By saying that, I mean they don't add artificial seasonings to dishes just for a "striking" feel to your taste buds, instead, they use basic seasonings for the real food taste, just like grandma and mom would cook at home, very familiar flavor. I'm from GTA, for all the restaurants I tried in GTA, all are overwhelmingly adding artificial seasoning ingredients in the dishes, which may make you crave for your dishes but after you finished your meal, you will feel super thirsty and drained because of those "amazing taste" (unhealthy ingredients). Highly recommend this one! I may visit this one again on my way back.

Tasty food and plenty of it too. The buffet was constantly being replenished with fresh dishes from the kitchen. Excellent service and a lovely friendly atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

Had the buffet, it was decent but there were no spicy options. It seemed to cater to everybody which I suppose is fine but I would have like a Szechuan dish or at least one option of that nature. It was always stocked Fresca which was nice

Unquestionably the best Chinese food on the island. The owner, Cindy, is always friendly and chatty, and helped us find new and delicious choices. Do yourself a favour and get the Cantonese sweet and sour pork.
